Cabo Golf Living (“we”, “us”) is a golf community real estate service in Los Cabos, working with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Baja Real Estate. This policy explains what personal information we collect through cabogolfliving.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is our privacy notice (aviso de privacidad) under Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.

What we collect

Only what you send us through a form on this site:

  • Your name, email address and, if you give it, your phone number.
  • Your message, the community or property you ask about, and whether you would like to speak with an advisor.
  • Your answers to the Community Match questions, if you ask us to send you a personalized search.

Like most websites, our hosting provider also records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and help you find property in Los Cabos.
  • To send you listings and market updates, if you sign up for them.
  • To keep a record of our conversations with you.

We do not sell your personal information or share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of service providers to run this site, and they process data only on our behalf:

  • Vercel, which hosts the website.
  • FormSubmit, which delivers form submissions to our inbox.
  • Google Workspace, which hosts our email.

Property listings come from the MLS BCS through FBS (Spark Platform), and pages load fonts from Google Fonts and map tiles from OpenFreeMap, which may receive your IP address when they serve them. If you ask about a specific property, we may share your details with the agents and brokerage involved in that transaction, so they can help you.

Analytics and cookies

We may use analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the site. These tools use cookies and similar technology to collect information about your visit, such as pages viewed and how you arrived. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and Google offers an opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we are helping you, and afterwards for as long as we reasonably need them for our records or as the law requires. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent, including unsubscribing from our emails. To do any of these, email info@cabogolfliving.com. We will reply within the time the law allows.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date above.
